Breed Standard Last Updated: 5 Aug 2009
|After obtaining our first Yorkshire Terrier, Ch Whingate Little Dandy, in 1990,
showing and breeding Yorkshire Terriers has become our passion and challenge.
We have carefully selected the foundations of our breeding
always taking into account the Breed Standard as shown below.
We have shared our enthusiasm and success with those also interested
in producing and promoting the healthiest, correct to standard and best Yorkshire
We believe there are many conceptions and misconceptions about
what a Yorkshire Terrier is. Many judges need to gain confidence when
judging them - confidence to know when they have an example before them that
complies with the Breed Standard.
Libby has become a Group 1 Judge, and hopes to follow soon with other Groups.
Some time ago Libby produced a DVD for Judges' Training and
has now presented, by invitation, this exceptionally well received lecture
at training sessions in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney
She is keen to promote the Yorkshire Terrier in an unbiased manner, and to assist
and advise others who have an interest - whether it be
breeding, showing, grooming, or judging.
Please do not hesitate to be in touch if you are looking for advice or assistance
in regard to Yorkshire Terriers.
